This excursion to Gatorama in Florida was fascinating – and an opportunity for some really incredible photos. And that last guy – man was he uuuugly, but I couldn’t pass the texture of his skin. Morbidly, I wanted to touch him. Probably would have ended up without a hand though. He’s an alligator, the other shots are crocodiles. And I did get to touch a baby – a 3 year old. He was soft and felt like a warm, buttery smooth leather purse. (No desire to own one though – a purse from their hide or the animal.)

These were so much fun to take. We’re going to the Sedgewick Co. Zoo next weekend and I’m hoping to get some more great animal shots with my new camera! Can’t wait. 🙂
